Wrong Classes or
Missing Classes |
Help!
Occasionally there will be a mix up in
the information entered into the Registration system and one of
the following problems will occur:
- The wrong classes are listed in the
Portal and/or ALVIN, or
- Classes are missing from Portal and/or
ALVIN, or
- An additional faculty member's name is
listed in the Portal, or
- Students listed on the official ALVIN
roster are not listed in the Portal.
This is almost never a problem with the
Portal or ALVIN, it is instead most often a problem with the
Registration information and must be corrected by your
department.
To have the problems listed above
resolved quickly:
- Check ALVIN to see if the course is
listed there and that the roster is correct.
- Go to the online course
correction form and fill out all the information
accurately.
- You will be contacted via email when
the course has been added to the Registration system.
Please
note: Because the information must be handled by several
departments, this can sometimes take 1-2 weeks to process.
